Join the Team
As OxCAN continues to grow, we are expanding the volunteer base so we can best support our members. Volunteering is a great opportunity to work with other Oxford alumni, the University of Oxford, and our global partners towards solving the climate crisis and mitigating biodiversity loss. As a volunteer, you can share your skills with the group, shape the future of OxCAN, and meet people with a shared interests.
We would be delighted to hear from you, whether you'd like to take on a Director role heading up a directorate, or commit a smaller amount of time working as a Manager within one of the directorates. Alternatively, you can also join as a member of one of our Working Groups.

Please note that you need to be an OxCAN (associate) member before you can volunteer in one of these capacities. If you are not yet a member, visit our registration page to see if you're eligible and register if so.

Please note that all volunteers are bound by our Constitution and Volunteer Policy.
Who we're looking foR
We are very grateful to everyone who volunteers their time to help make OxCAN happen. The Directors (leading the directorates) commit around 4hrs/week and meet fortnightly as the Executive Committee. The Managers are more flexible and your Director will work with you to shape the role to the time and skills you can bring to the team. You will also have the option to join Executive Committee meetings in an observer capacity. Here are the roles we're currently looking to fill.
