about us

The Oxford Climate Alumni Network (OxCAN) is a UK-registered charity and alumni network of the University of Oxford. We bring together the unique skills and connections of the University of Oxford's alumni, students, and staff, and their networks, to accelerate progress on solving the climate crisis. We want to help unlock 'climate paralysis' using our diverse global community to help people:

  • connect with others and work on areas of shared interest.

  • keep up-to-date with the latest climate information, including the world-class research from the University of Oxford.

  • understand what they can do to make a difference.

Whether you're University alumni or not, please check out our working groups, events, and blogs, and get in touch if you'd like to collaborate with us to help get to a net-zero world that bit faster.

Support OxCAN's growth

As a UK charity, financially-independent from the University, having been entirely volunteer-run since we started in 2020, we're now looking to raise £50k to secure our future. All donations are very gratefully received! The below links take you to our PayPal Giving Fund or Stripe donations page. Do get in touch if you'd like to discuss sponsorship or grants.
